Rights of Eco-Patrol Employee to Be Defined

Aram Meymaryan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the RA, presented the draft law "On Making Amendment and Addenda to the law On Eco-Patrol Service" during the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Protection convened on April 8.
The draft law proposes to enshrine in legislation the right of Eco-Patrol Service employees to participate in the continuous monitoring of biodiversity in state forests, specially protected nature areas and forest lands.
According to Aram Meymaryan, the draft also seeks to clearly define the right of Eco-Patrol Service employees to cooperate with local self-government bodies for the effective implementation of the service and to ensure the prompt exchange of information.
The draft law received a positive conclusion.
