Dear compatriots,
I congratulate all of us on World Environment Day.
This year, the Day is being observed under the slogan “Inspired by Nature: For the Climate, for Our Future,” once again highlighting that nature itself offers some of the best solutions for addressing climate challenges and building a sustainable future.
We attach particular importance to Armenia’s hosting of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) in 2026. This is both a great honour and a significant responsibility, providing an opportunity to position our country as an important platform for the global biodiversity conservation agenda and a centre for international cooperation.
On this important day, I extend my congratulations to all professionals and partners in the sector and wish that care for nature and environmental responsibility continue to be among the core values of our society
