Hambardzum Matevosyan, Minister of Environment of the RA, paid a working visit to Shirak Province.
Accompanied by Davit Arushanyan, Governor of Shirak Province, the Minister visited the “Gyumri Forestry” branch of “Armforest” SNCO under the Ministry, where the Gyumri unit of the Eco-Patrol Service is currently located.
During the visit, the officials familiarized themselves with the condition of the building, the organization of the service’s activities, equipment and materials support, and the overall working environment. They also discussed existing challenges and priority issues.
The Minister and the Governor then visited a new site under consideration for the provincial unit of the Eco-Patrol Service, in order to assess its suitability for the service’s needs and its potential for future use.
An on-site inspection of the area was carried out, during which infrastructure conditions, accessibility, and other key factors related to the location of the service were reviewed.
