On 22 May, the world marks the International Day for Biological Diversity. Within the framework of this important occasion, the Ministry of Environment of the RA, has initiated a number of events, among which the comprehensive programme for the restoration of trout stocks and the development of fish farming in Lake Sevan is of particular importance.
As part of the programme, around 120,000 trout fry were released into Lake Sevan today.
It is planned that the total number of released fry will reach approximately 1 million by the end of the year.
