The funds allocated for COP17 were used for their intended purposes, prudently and with proper justification. All assets purchased for the organisation of COP17 belong to the Republic of Armenia and will remain available for future use as needed.
Ara Mkrtchyan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia, stated this in an interview with Armenpress. He expressed hope that COP17 would help address various environmental issues in Armenia, enhance the country’s international recognition and deliver positive results for the country and its people.
