Armenian National Commission for UNESCO Held a Regular Meeting

A regular meeting of Armenian National Commission for UNESCO was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the RA. Hambardzum Matevosyan, Minister of Environment of the RA, attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Hambardzum Matevosyan emphasised the interconnectedness of environmental protection and the preservation of natural heritage, as well as the importance of developing international cooperation in these areas.
The Minister highlighted that hosting COP17 creates new opportunities to deepen international cooperation in the fields of natural heritage and biodiversity conservation.
“Our goal is to align efforts in nature conservation, science, education, and sustainable development, thereby contributing to the increased international recognition of Armenia’s natural heritage.”
