June 11, 2026

On the Accreditation of Youth NGOs to the CBD COP17.
The Secretariat of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) informs that youth non-governmental organizations (NGOs) wishing to access the Blue Zone of the CBD COP17 must first complete the accreditation process.
For this purpose, organizations are requested to submit an application letter to the Convention Secretariat as soon as possible expressing their interest in obtaining accreditation: (e-mail secretariat@cbd.int; copy: chantal.robichaud@un.org and a.melkumyan@mfa.am).
Detailed information on the accreditation process is available at: https://www.cbd.int/ngo/meetings.shtml.
Following accreditation, organizations must submit a nomination letter to the Secretariat indicating the names of the representatives they wish to register for access to the Blue Zone of the CBD COP17.
Individual youth representatives may apply for accreditation through the Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN).
