Due to expected intense precipitation and snowmelt, river discharge is expected to increase across most rivers of the republic on 20–21 April, with significant increases in some rivers.

Unfavourable hydrological conditions are possible in the Vedi and Azat rivers, as well as in rivers in Vayots Dzor Province.
