The COP17 Blue Zone will be located at the Meridian Expo Center, the official conference venue that will operate under the auspices of the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity.
The Blue Zone will host intergovernmental negotiations, high-level sessions, official events and meetings of delegations.
Preparations for COP17 are currently in an active phase at the Expo Center. Large-scale construction, renovation and improvement works are underway to ensure that the infrastructure meets international standards and supports the successful organization of the conference.
