Manuk Manukyan, Founder and Director of the Protection of Endemic and Endangered Species Foundation, together with his team, rescues injured and oil-contaminated white storks, provides them with care and rehabilitation, and, whenever possible, returns them to the wild.
His work is a reminder that biodiversity conservation depends not only on policies and global commitments, but also on the dedication of individuals working every day to protect wildlife.
