Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Meridian Expo Center, where preparations are in their final stages for the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), which will take place in Yerevan in the coming days.
The Prime Minister reviewed the work carried out so far. Hambardzum Matevosyan, Minister of Environment of the RA, presented the progress made. It was noted that preparations across all areas are proceeding according to the planned schedule.
The Prime Minister toured the areas designated for conference sessions, delegation activities, media work, technical support and other functions. He also inspected the infrastructure and technical facilities, as well as the arrangements made to ensure accessibility and logistical convenience. The Prime Minister stressed the importance of holding COP17 to a high standard through effective interagency cooperation.
