At the Governor’s Office of Shirak Province, Hambardzum Matevosyan, Minister of Environment of the RA, held a working meeting with the heads of structures subordinate to the Ministry of Environment in the province.
During the meeting, the Minister presented the preparatory work for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), emphasizing that the effective organization of this important international event by Armenia requires the active and systematic involvement of provincial structures.
The parties also discussed issues related to the leasing of territories of “Armforest” SNCO and “Lake Arpi” National Park.
