At a press conference, Hambardzum Matevosyan, Minister of Environment of the RA, summarized the Ministry’s activities in 2025 and discussed with media representatives the preparatory process for the COP17, to be held in Armenia in 2026. At this stage, COP17 preparation already constitutes a significant component of the Ministry’s agenda and workload.
According to the Minister, 2025 can be characterized as a year focused on legislative regulation and decision-making aimed at improving management efficiency in the sector, as well as a period marked by the Ministry’s expanded role and unprecedented level of engagement on the international stage.
