Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan on Working Visit to Montreal

High-level working meetings with the leadership and relevant teams of the Secretariat of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) are scheduled from 15 to 18 September.
The discussions will focus on the final stage of preparations for COP17 in Yerevan, the conference’s negotiation and policy agenda, the organisation of high-level events, and ensuring effective dialogue among the Parties.
As part of the visit, Minister Matevosyan will also participate in the “CBD COP17 Endgame” high-level workshop, dedicated to the effective management of the COP17 negotiation process and ensuring ambitious and balanced outcomes for the conference.
