Hambardzum Matevosyan Participated in a Biodiversity Work Programme

At the invitation of the Norwegian Environment Agency (NEA), Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan participated in a comprehensive biodiversity work programme covering key areas of policy, implementation and innovative solutions.
During the meeting, participants were presented with Norway’s experience in developing and implementing National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs), as well as programmes in the field of nature restoration.
Special attention was given to other effective area-based conservation measures (OECMs), accountability and evaluation mechanisms, as well as the use of satellite technologies for ecosystem mapping.
The meeting served as an important platform for the exchange of experience and the development of cooperation aimed at advancing biodiversity conservation and sustainable environmental management.
