The “State Museum of Nature of Armenia” SNCO invites the public to celebrate International Museum Day on 18 May and to participate in the pan-European event Museum Night on 16 May.
International Museum Day is celebrated annually on 18 May. This year’s theme, “Museums Uniting a Divided World,” emphasizes the important role of museums as platforms for cultural dialogue, mutual understanding, and the preservation and transmission of universal human values.
Within the framework of International Museum Day, one of the most anticipated cultural events, Museum Night, will also take place on 16 May. On that day, numerous museums across Armenia will remain open to visitors until late at night.
On 16 May, museums will welcome visitors free of charge from 11:00 to 24:00, while on 18 May they will operate according to their regular visiting hours.
