During a regular meeting with Astrid Schomaker, Executive Secretary of the Convention on Biological Diversity, Hambardzum Matevosyan, Minister of Environment discussed the progress of preparations for COP17, upcoming tasks, and key policy and negotiation issues related to the conference.
Working discussions with partners from the Convention Secretariat also continued throughout the day, focusing on preparations for the high-level segment of COP17, the Leaders’ Summit, and associated events.
