As the host country of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), and subsequently assuming the Presidency of the Convention, Armenia has placed biodiversity restoration at the core of its practical agenda, transitioning from commitments to measurable results.
The Ministry of Environment of the RA is implementing a range of programmes and initiatives aimed at restoring natural habitats, protecting species, and rehabilitating ecosystems.
