Armenia is participating in the global “Big Cat Conservation” initiative. The draft Delhi Declaration and the upcoming IBCA summit were discussed.
Aram Meymaryan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the RA, met with Nilakshi Saha Sinha, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Republic of Armenia, to discuss international cooperation in the environmental sphere and upcoming global initiatives.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the “International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA)” initiative and the summit scheduled for 1 June 2026 in New Delhi, within the framework of which the “Delhi Declaration on the Big Cat Conservation” is expected to be adopted.
