Aram Meymaryan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the RA, met with the representatives of the Armenian office of the international charitable organization World Vision International.
During the meeting, the parties discussed potential areas of cooperation in the implementation of environmental programmes, community capacity development, and climate change-related initiatives.
They also addressed the impacts of climate change on children and explored possible measures to mitigate them. The importance of reducing children’s vulnerability and strengthening their resilience through the effective implementation of relevant programmes was emphasized.
The parties highlighted the importance of ensuring the continuity and further development of cooperation, with a view to achieving more effective and sustainable results in the sector.
