The project “Implementation of the Financial Participatory Approach (FPA) in the Communities Adjacent to Lake Arpi National Park” is being implemented by “Women in Climate and Energy” NGO.
The project aims to strengthen biodiversity conservation and the sustainable use of natural resources in Armenia’s biodiversity-rich areas, while also improving the socio-economic conditions of neighboring communities.
The project “Biodiversity and Sustainable Local Development in Armenia” is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through KfW Development Bank.
The project is implemented by the Ministry of Environment of the RA in cooperation with WWF Armenia, which serves as the consultant for the implementation of the “Biodiversity and Specially Protected Areas” component.
