State Reserves
- Date of establishment: 27 May, 1981
- Area: 118.75 ha
- Administrative subordination: Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia
- Managing organization: “Reserve Park Complex” SNCO
- Location: The site is located in the eastern part of Yerevan, between Shorbulagh and Geghadir villages, within a landscape of mountain steppes and semi-deserts, at an altitude of 1,300–1,400 meters above sea level. The western slopes are characterized by mountain xerophytic vegetation.
Protected object:
- 293 species of vascular plants
- Wild relatives of cereals, 100 varieties of wheat, barley, and rye
- 9 species of reptiles, 50 species of birds, 13 species of mammals
- Date of establishment: 13 September, 1958
- Area: 23 213.5 ha
- Location: Central Armenia, Ararat Province, on the southern slopes of the Geghama Mountain Range, the Urts and Yeranos Mountain Ranges near the Araks River, and the Azat and Vedi River Basins, at an altitude of 800-2,800 meters above sea level.
Protected object:
- Juniper and oak forests that have persisted since the Tertiary period
- Xerophytic species of semi-desert and phrygian landscapes, other Mediterranean relict vegetation ecosystems, and the gene pool of rare animals and plants adapted to these environments
- 1,849 species of higher plants and 283 species of vertebrates
- Date of establishment: 13 September, 1958
- Area: 12,371.1 ha
- Location: The reserve is bordered by Shikahogh, Tsav (Shishkert), and Nerkin Hand Rural Communities. To the south, it adjoins Arevik National Park with the Meghri Mountain Range Watershed, and to the northwest, it borders the Baghatssar and Khustup Mountain Ranges.
- The area also includes the natural monuments of Tsakhkar (Tsakkar), Kaputan, and Gazan Lakes.
Protected object:
- Oak-beech forests and their characteristic flora and fauna
- Yew and plane groves
- Relict species from the Tertiary period, including the Taxus Baccata Grove (European Yew Grove), listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Armenia
- Red Book–registered fauna, including the common pheasant, Caspian snowcock, boreal owl, Caucasian leopard, bezoar goat, brown bear, Caucasian black grouse, Armenian viper, and other species
